Vehicle Description 1940 Lincoln Zephyr Model 73 Sedan.
This Lincoln Zephyr is not your average 83 year old classic car.

Owned from new for over 50 years by a family in Pasadena California.

Sold to a collector in Michigan 1993.

In 1998 This very special Lincoln Zephyr was purchased by a very influential man in the collector car hobby.

Mr Don Peterson, He was a life time member of both the AACA and CCCA for almost 70 years.

A well known Car Collector & Car appraiser.
It's estimated that Mr Peterson had driven over 2 Million miles in over 75 countries.

Mr Peterson went on to own half of Collector Car Magazine.

Mr Peterson passed away in September of 2021.
We just acquired this beauty from Mr Peterson's son West who is also very well known in the classic car hobby.

During the past few years this Killer Lincoln was used for weddings to keep exercized.

In the mid 90's Well known restorers, Classic & Exotic Service of Troy Michigan were commissioned to prepare this wonderful 1940 Lincoln Zephyr for extensive touring.

Although this car had good driver quality paint at the time, This Zephyr was Disassembled, Taken down to bare metal & Refinished in correct Capri Blue Poly.
The Body is straight as a pin, The paint job is Exquisite.

The Fit & Finish is second to none.

All the Chrome Bumpers, Headlight Bezels, Trunk lid latch & Trim are show quality.

All the glass is perfect The skirts fit excellent and look great.

Original steel wheels w/ Wide white wall tires make for an awesome stance Heres the unique component to this special Lincoln Zephyr,,, Air conditioning was installed by Classic & Exotic Service.
That's right,, Custom fabricated Components throughout, Blowers through the rear deck, 12V system just for the A/C.

What a killer setup for sure.

The cloth Upholstery is 100% original to the car & beautiful.

Just a touch of wear on the driver's seat area.

Wonderful dash and switch layout.
The clock still works.
All gauges work but the fuel gauge is tempermental.
The steering wheel is stunning, especially when light hits it, The wheel aluminates red in color.

Rear foot rests.
There are front seat belts installed.

Just an amazing interior overall.
Under the hood is just real nice & tidy.

All components have been dialed in for long tours.
An electric fan was installed for parades.
In the clean trunk is the original spare tire & Jack.

A variety of receipts & all the A/C components.
The undercarriage is very nice and clean.
This Zephyr starts every time with a touch of the button.
