Vehicle Description 1938 Ford Standard Business Coupe.
86 Year old Time Capsule - All Henry Ford Steel - Unrestored - Never rusted - Never Apart.
Spent the last 25 years in a prominent Ford collection.
85Hp V8 Flathead Engine - 3 Speed Manual transmission.

Refinished in the original color of Gull Gray in 1969 using the correct Lacquer paint.
The paint has held up extremely well, No bubbles, No dents.

Original rubbers around windows & Doors.
Very nice Original Glass.
Original Artillery Wheels w/ Firestone Champion 6.
00-16 tires.
Original V8 Script hubcaps.
Drivers side chrome Mirror & Wiper.
Single rear tail lamp.

Blinkers added in the 80's.
.
Can be removed in minutes if so desired.
Excellent Bumpers.
Beautiful fit & finish.

Beautiful running Boards.
Killer Original Cloth interior.

Unmolested Original Dash, Original door panels, Original headliner & Visors.
All knobs and switches work properly including the choke & heater.
All gauges work properly except the fuel gauge.

The speedo stopped working while taking these photos.

67k miles are said to be correct from the collector we acquired the car from.
An oil change sticker from 1997 says 67207 miles.
In the trunk is the Original Spare Tire, Trunk mat, Wood covers, Front plate bracket, Hood prop removed so as to not buckel the hood.

Some spare parts as well.

Under the hood is stock, The firewall is beautiful.

Manifold Heater.

We chose not to pressure wash under the hood.
The undercarriage is insane.

Red oxide floors.
Never any repairs at all!! Original as they come.

This Spectacular 38 Ford Standard would place very high accolades at a AACA judging event.
This 38 Ford Runs Outstanding!!! Per's like a kitten!!! Starts & Stops & Drives Perfect!!! As far as Unrestored Pre-war Fords go,, This Ford is nothing short of Breathtaking!!! Very hard to find example!!!.
