Vehicle Description 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Convertible.
Real Deal D Code 289Ci V8 Ragtop.
Sold new in California.
Born Poppy Red Exterior w/ White interior.

One of only 648 D code Convertibles in Poppy Red.
We acquired this Mustang recently from a family whose dad had a Mustang Collection.
This particular mustang had been sitting in the garage since 1989.
Luckily it was stored pretty good.
We got the car up and running, New fuel tank, Carb cleaned, Fluids etc.

This Factory D code mustang ragtop was restored in the mid 80's.
There has been floor work like most northern Mustangs.
The body is straight, The doors open & close fine, The Poppy Red paint has held up pretty damn well.
Has some minor chips here and there.
The white power convertible top is in real nice condition.
And works mint.
The bumpers and grill are very good as well.
There are still 4 Bias ply tires on this car.

There Old! Nice original wire hubcaps.

The White Bucket seat interior is very nice & clean overall, The console with shifter is in great condition.
Am radio.
As far as the mileage goes, The last Mass inspection sticker on the car is from 4/20/88.
An oil change sticker on 4/20/88 @30168 Miles.
A spark plugs sticker on the air cleaner lid shows 4/20/1988 @ 30188 miles.
After the fathers passing all the cars were newly titled for resale.
Today the odometer shows 30253, We have a current Ma title showing actual miles.
The car runs fine, Drives ok on the old tires, and stops.

It will need the brakes looked at & New tires prior to any long drives.
