Quality Consultant within our growing Smithfield, RI Campus! You will be joining the Workplace Investing (WI) Platform Engineering Quality Assurance team and will help in guiding multiple scrum teams in all things related to the quality of their code.

Job Responsibilities Coordinates all WI Quality Engineers on large programs across squads, teams, and domains Govern WI Quality Engineering standards across squads on the program to ensure the how of the work is aligned with established standards Proactive communication with developers and business analysts to resolve issues or questions pertaining to test creation or execution Identify, communicate, and proactively lead project risks as well those of our supporting teams (as applicable) Be an authority in the overall team objectives and improvement initiatives Steer gathering of team requirements on quality process improvements Lead the end-to-end testing efforts across several teams including those upstream and downstream of the product Partner with development teams and promote understanding of test data, data flows, and the role data plays in the project lifecycle Support Continuous Integrated (CI) testing using industry standard tools and techniques including automation and orchestration standards Education and Experience Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Finance from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience 6
years of Software Quality Assurance required Proper SDLC standards including code review and documentation required Experience with Dev Ops principles and strategies as well as how to apply them to multiple SDLC models is preferred Strong proficiency in Agile software development is required Ability to multi-task and shift priorities in response to changing business needs Proficient Understanding of Behavior Driven Development and testing using BDD Frameworks such as Cucumber is required Data Lake or Data Warehouse experience is required Proven understanding of Data warehousing systems and the data migration concepts Strong API experience is required Firm understanding of Event Streaming platforms like Kafka and Azure Service Bus are required Experience with programming languages such as Java and scripting language like SQL are required Good understanding of cloud technologies AWS or Azure is preferred Experience with trading or financial applications are preferred with a practical understanding of retirement vehicles (such as 401(k) plans) highly preferred Skills Hands-on working experience with CI/CD pipeline and build tools including Jenkins, Artifactory, Container base or similar Experience with QA techniques including black box, white box, and gray box approaches for smoke, regression, functional, user acceptance and exploratory testing.
Experience any with GUI / Web Automation Testing Tool (Selenium or similar) Experience of testing REST or SOAP APIs (Java, JUnit, NUnit, Web API, Etc.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
