Now Hiring Behavioral Health Clinician LMHC or LICSW for PCHCs Providence School-Based clinic This is a School-calendar year position Providence Community Health Centers supports schools located in Providence, RI through the SMART school-based clinics.
We are hiring Behavioral Health Clinicians to help us improve the health, education and wellness of our urban youth.
Qualifications:
LMHC or LICSW licensed in Rhode Island Desire to care for students and their families in a school-based clinic Interest in working the school calendar year and school hours Experience working with diverse cultures highly preferred Serving as an extension of students primary care team and working in the Providence schools, our primary care clinics support students, school staff and students families with physicals, managing chronic conditions, injuries and other primary care needs.
Behavioral Health Clinician will collaborate with Provider, LPN and RN.
Currently, the PCHC Smart team serves one elementary school, one middle school, and one high school in the city of Providence.
Calendar school year 2023-2024 Position starts two weeks before First day of school and ends one week after last day of school.

The SMART school clinics purpose is to break the cycle of poverty and positively impact the trajectory of lives.
We achieve this by identifying and delivering interventions to address the physical, social, emotional and behavioral barriers to classroom success, and thus creating optimal conditions for learning through the deployment of Active Access to deliver Active Care for all students, school faculty and staff, and students families.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
